On 29 January, Quik Corp celebrates 38 years as a proudly Australian-owned manufacturing business, built on innovation, hard work, and strong family values. From a backyard invention to a nationally recognised manufacturer, Quik Corp continues to deliver purpose-built solutions that support agriculture, government, contractors, and emergency services across Australia and internationally.

Quik Corp began nearly four decades ago when AJ, a weed-spraying contractor, identified a practical problem in the field. His solution was a ground-breaking powered hose reel that could rewind at the touch of a button — strong enough to pull the operator uphill and significantly improve safety and efficiency.

Working alongside his brother-in-law, Grant, the pair patented the design and began hand-building the first units in a backyard shed. These early products were showcased at local field days and to councils across the country, marking the beginning of what would become Quik Corp.

As demand grew, Quik Corp expanded beyond its original product. The business opened its first factory in Warana before growing to multiple sites across the Sunshine Coast region. Additional operations were established to support specialised manufacturing and national growth.

A major milestone was reached in 2021 when Quik Corp consolidated all operations into a purpose-built 12,000 m² facility in the Coolum Industrial Park. By bringing design, engineering, manufacturing, and assembly together under one roof, the business strengthened collaboration, improved efficiency, and secured long-term local employment.

Today, Quik Corp remains committed to Australian manufacturing, regional development, and investment in skilled local jobs.

Quik Corp is now recognised as a leader in the design and manufacture of emergency service vehicles, custom service bodies, and innovative fluid-handling and spraying equipment.

The company proudly supports government departments, councils, contractors, and farmers with solutions designed for real-world conditions — from land management and noxious weed control to emergency response applications.
