The Quik Corp team bring their passion and skills in automotive when creating custom emergency appliances. For Matt Chick, Specialised Products Manager, racing cars have been a part of his life since age 15 and he has over 10 years of track-driving experience.
Matt has had great success on the track recently, competing in the AMRS (Australian Motor Racing Series) Mazda RX8 cup at the Sydney Motorsport Park.
His position at Quik Corp has seen him return to his hometown of Melbourne as the Specialised Products Manager, primarily focussing on customised fire appliances that service the Victorian region. This move has brought him back into the world of motorsport racing.
Driving for Butters Motorsport, the RX-8 reaches speeds of up to 200km/h. The 3-day event in Sydney saw 27 cars line up on the start line. Extremely proud of their achievements, Team Butters Motorsport achieved the lap record on Saturday in Race 2.
Seeing Matt behind the wheel, celebrating his passion, we are proud to support him in his endeavors. We wish him the best of luck in his next series.
