Quik Corp is a proudly Australian-owned manufacturing company built on innovation, hard work, and family values. The business began nearly 40 years ago when AJ, a weed-spraying contractor, developed a ground-breaking idea – a powered hose reel that could rewind at the touch of a button, strong enough to pull the operator uphill. Working alongside his brother-in-law, Grant, they patented the design and began hand-building the first models in a backyard shed, showcasing their invention at local field days and to councils across the country.

What started as a backyard project soon grew into a thriving Australian manufacturing business. Quik Corp opened its first factory in Warana and later expanded to three sites across the Sunshine Coast region, along with a fire truck manufacturing operation in Crows Nest and a Victorian office to support national growth.

Over the years, Quik Corp has evolved far beyond its founding product – the world’s first remote-controlled retractable hose reel, known as Quik Spray. Today, the company is recognised as a leader in the design and manufacture of emergency service vehicles, custom service bodies, and innovative spraying and fluid-handling equipment. Its products support government departments, contractors, and farmers in the treatment of noxious weeds and land management across Australia and internationally, with equipment proudly operating in the United States, Canada, and New Zealand.

Under the leadership of Grant’s daughter, Fiona Dempster, Quik Corp continues to uphold the same pioneering spirit that inspired its founders.
